Fathering the Fatherless™ is the foundation that supplies the fatherhood-ministry movement.
We restore godly fatherly influence by equipping men — fathers, absent fathers, and mentors — with the biblical and practical tools of authentic manhood and effective fatherhood. We partner with and fund the churches, nonprofits, and community organizations who deliver direct services to children from fatherless and single-parent homes. We do not provide those services ourselves. We make them possible.

A special morning. A historic moment. Coffee with neighbors.
This month's Coffee & Commerce is one we have been waiting for.
Maury County Mayor Shelia Butt will be on-site at 8:15 AM for a special proclamation signing — officially establishing Fathering the Fatherless Day in Maury County, to be observed annually on the Saturday before Father's Day.
Following a detailed verification review of national records, this appears to be one of the first county-level proclamations of its kind in the United States. A significant milestone for Maury County, and a moment worth being in the room for.
After the signing, the morning continues as our familiar monthly networking event — designed to help local business professionals build relationships, exchange ideas, and stay connected with the Spring Hill community. Casual conversation, coffee, and the chance to meet fellow chamber members in a relaxed, welcoming environment. A great way to strengthen your network and learn more about businesses across our region.

I walked into Fathering the Fatherless thinking I was going to help a kid. What I did not expect was how much it would challenge me to become a steadier, more intentional man. The mentoring is simple but serious, show up, listen, keep your word, and lead with faith. Over time, my mentee started opening up, doing better in school, and carrying himself with more confidence. This ministry does not do hype. It builds consistency, and that is what kids without a father figure usually need most. I am a better father to my own kids because of what I have learned here.
I have been raising my daughter on my own, and I will be honest, it can feel isolating. I want to lead her well, but I also know she needs more than just me. Fathering the Fatherless gave us a community of men who take faith and fatherhood seriously. It was not judgment, it was support. I got practical tools I could actually use at home, and my daughter gained safe, trustworthy mentors who reinforce the same values. I have more confidence as a dad now, and my home feels steadier because I am not trying to do everything alone anymore.
